About QuantifiCare

Since 2001, QuantifiCare has been developing innovative imaging solutions for 2D and 3D photography of the skin. QuantifiCare’s founders had a unique vision to create a contract research organization (CRO) capable of bringing evidence based medicine where both Sponsors and physicians can benefit from its success in clinical trials. They have adapted their existing solutions to a portable and highly reproducible 3D photographic systems dedicated to specialists in the aesthetic, plastic surgery and dermatologic fields.

About the 3D LifeViz® Mini

Launched in March 2015, the LifeViz® Mini is the latest addition to the 3D LifeViz® line initiated in 2007. The 3D LifeViz® Mini is the most compact 3D camera, specialized for the face, currently on the market.

The first applications for the LifeViz® cameras were in clinical trials for the photodocumentation and measurement of wound volume, psoriatic plaques and cosmetic/aesthetic volumizing effects such as with botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers.

Updated with a 3D simulation tool and a skin complexion analysis module, the 3D LifeViz® Mini is widely used by Aesthetic Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons in their daily practice, to foster communication with their patients, document before-after procedures in 3D and to increase procedures.

The accuracy achieved by superior 3D reconstructed images in a compact and portable system made the difference for the jurors that reward the 3D LifeViz® Mini.

Objectivity and precision are important requirements in the medical field as testified by Prof Paolo Bonan, Cosmetic Plastic and Laser Surgery, Villa Donatello, Florence “The dual-beam pointer technology let’s me achieve great image reproducibility, critical for the image comparisons, especially when employed at different times. The system includes a 3D camera and the QuantifiCare Software Suite, through which I can easily reach the SkinCare Report – a detailed document objectively evaluating the wrinkles, the oiliness, the pores, the evenness, red and brown spots. Moreover a simulation tool, the 3D Face Shaper, allows me to project the patient into the future, showing the impact of the benefits that will be achieved after my aesthetic treatments. […]My recommendations are always shared by the patients, convinced by my words as well as by the images.”
