As part of its development, the company is looking for an Area Sales Manager EMEA


The EMEA Area Sales Manager will have the dual role of developing sales in the Germanic countries and Northern Europe, and motivating and guiding the EMEA sales team (3 experienced sales people) to achieve the sales targets for the area. The objective is to :

As Sales Manager for Germanic countries and Northern Europe, you will have the following responsibilities :

  • Identify and recruit qualified sales agents and distributors and manage them, ensuring that sales targets are met
  • Conduct sales visits to prospects, customers and distributors in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Northern Europe…
  • Provide customer support, prepare reports and make recommendations to management
  • Identify and participate in trade shows, notably in support of distributor teams
  • Implement marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to identifying the specific needs of the target market
  • Help identify key opinion leaders in the target market
  • Ensure full reporting of actions carried out in the target area

As EMEA Sales Manager, you will have the following responsibilities :

  • Influence and train the sales team
  • Continue the expansion of the EMEA sales organization
  • Develop key performance indicators for EMEA area management
  • Check and advise the team on the implementation of processes and documentation
  • Develop, guide and motivate EMEA sales staff in achieving and exceeding company objectives
  • Hire, train and integrate potential new employees
  • Provide strategic and commercial support and advice to the team in order to increase sales volumes
  • Carry out analyses and make strategic decisions, with the approval of line management
  • Regularly monitor team members’ activities
  • Provide analysis and research to assist executive management in decision-making on strategic projects such as product launches, choice of distributors, change of structuring tools…


  • 3/4 years higher education in international business or equivalent
  • At least three years experience in sales of software and/or medical devices (such as lasers, dermoscopes, etc.)
  • First significant experience in a managerial position
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Autonomy, organization, time management, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Sense of responsibility, strength of proposals, proactive
  • Fluency in English and German (C1) essential and other languages (Russian, Spanish, Italian…) highly appreciated
  • Business travel 70% of the time
